Welcome to ABI_SPARK
ABI_SPARK empowers people with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) to participate in society and sustain their autonomy through the co-creation of accessible, inclusive learning materials, while fostering lifelong learning and equipping their support networks with practical tools.
Discover Our Mission
At ABI_Spark, inclusion is promoted and lifelong learning opportunities are fostered for individuals with ABI and their support networks. A participatory approach is embraced, whereby people with ABI, their families, caregivers, and volunteers are directly involved in the co-creation of tools designed to enhance social participation, autonomy, and equity.
Persistent challenges in communication and daily interactions faced by over 3.3 million Europeans living with ABI are being addressed. Through the improved availability of flexible and accessible learning resources, greater independence and fuller participation in society are intended to be supported.
A comprehensive suite of co-designed materials will be developed, including a Knowledge Hub, tailored learning resources, supportive tools, and a sustainable network of ambassadors to ensure long-term impact.
