Voorall is an advocacy organization in Den Haag representing people with disabilities and chronic illnesses. It promotes inclusion and accessibility by advising local stakeholders, conducting research and accessibility tests, and sharing practical knowledge.
Working closely with residents with lived experience, Voorall helps remove barriers and serves as a key contact point for building a more inclusive and accessible city.
About
AFEdemy, a private limited company in Gouda, Netherlands, was founded in May 2017. It engages in European networks and projects to address the implementation of WHO’s age-friendly cities concept. AFEdemy’s mission is to build capacity for stakeholders in smart, healthy, age-friendly environments. Target groups include older adults, public authorities, architects, healthcare institutions, and research and ICT agencies. Services offered are: optimising innovation management and funding, co-creating educational frameworks, implementing interactive learning and virtual libraries, shaping social policy, providing research insights and strategies, and fostering networking and target group involvement.

SHINE 2Europe aims to promote inclusive communities to all citizens, by delivering research and support to the implementation of tech-Savvy, Healthy and INclusivE solutions. With a clear vision of fostering societal growth and inclusiveness, SHINE promotes sharing of good practices, active networking between different stakeholders and countries and projects in areas deemed as essential to society, such as equality and inclusion, ethical behaviour and environmental responsibility. SHINE chairs the COST Action NET4Age-Friendly is a Member of the Focus Group of the EU Pact for Skills for the Proximity and Social Economy ecosystem.

ISIS is a private social science research, training and consultancy institute. It was founded in 1991 and is based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The institute is active in the fields of social gerontology, gender, migration, education, health and civil society. The target groups of its work are socially disadvantaged or marginalized persons concerned or at risk of social exclusion. The focus of its work is on people in need of care, unemployed youngsters, isolated persons as well as refugees and other members of ethnic minorities.
About
The Association “Žena,” founded in 2002, works to improve the quality of life of vulnerable groups, especially older people and long-term unemployed women from isolated rural communities. Its activities focus on empowering women who face inequality due to social, infrastructural, and traditional barriers.
The Association has also educated women for professions such as caregivers, nannies, and seamstresses, preserved traditional crafts through workshops, and conducted awareness-raising activities on women’s rights and the prevention of domestic violence, including the distribution of informational brochures.
Since its establishment, the Association has implemented projects that improve care for elderly and vulnerable persons, raise awareness of women’s rights, encourage active participation in community life, and strengthen the economic independence of rural women. This is achieved through education, social services, and the development of social entrepreneurship based on traditional skills, such as the production of traditional clothing, souvenirs, eco-friendly food, and the provision of community services.

Associação Novamente is a Portuguese non-profit organisation founded in 2010, dedicated to supporting people with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and their families. It promotes awareness, social inclusion and access to appropriate support through information, advocacy and community-based initiatives.
In addition to peer support and awareness-raising, Novamente works actively on employability and social reintegration, supporting individuals with ABI in rebuilding autonomy, strengthening skills and facilitating pathways back into education, training and the labour market. Through collaboration with professionals, employers and public stakeholders, the organisation contributes to more inclusive practices and better coordinated responses in health and social contexts.
Working closely with people with lived experience, carers and institutional partners, Novamente serves as a national reference point in Portugal for promoting sustainable inclusion and participation in the field of Acquired Brain Injury.
